Organization overview

The League of Arab States is a regional intergovernmental organization of Arab countries established under the 1945 Pact of the League of Arab States. It is one of the world's earliest modern regional organizations.

Flag design and meaning

The Arab League flag commonly uses a green field with a white central emblem. Arabic lettering, chain links and laurel elements represent ties among members, dignity and shared cooperation.
