لماذا يتشابه علم سلوفاكيا وعلم سلوفينيا؟
Both flags are white-blue-red horizontal tricolors with a coat of arms offset toward the hoist. They gained independence around the same time (Slovakia in 1993 from Czechoslovakia, Slovenia in 1991 from Yugoslavia) and both chose Pan-Slavic colors. The only differences are the specific coat of arms designs and slightly different aspect ratios. Even their country names sound similar, adding to the confusion.
